(ERAA - Everybody Recommitting to Academic Achievement)

PAZZAZ, Inc. and the Center for Parent Involvement in Education (CPIE) host a free, one-day, high-energy conference to help parents and their kids work together for academic success. The conference focus is to inform parents and students about achieving academic success.

Speakers discuss the school district's math and literacy standards, genre classes, zero tolerance, truancy policies, exit exams, school readiness, pro-active learning, getting more out of reading, test taking, and study skills development. The conference seeks to inspire parents and students by providing tools to cultivate relationships with school faculty, encourage positive interactions, and challenge students to meet or exceed academic standards and achieve their highest potential. Each component of ERAA 2003 promotes relationships, resilience, and readiness.

Parents and students grades K-12 have an opportunity to learn the requirements to pass and or graduate from each grade level. Representatives and teachers from the San Diego City School District facilitate many of the sessions.

Mid-Year Conference is a follow-up mini-conference where parents recieve the most recent information on standardized test scores, API and other relevant information.

Registration forms are located at PAZZAZ, Inc., 1744 N. Euclid Ave., and at CPIE, 4740 Federal Blvd in San Diego.
